1. a) Improve attendees understanding of the funding outlook affecting higher education and the University’s financial sustainability; and 1. b) Improve attendees understanding of the Strategic Mandate Agreement’s implementation of Performance-based metrics affecting future McMaster funding
2. To provide information regarding the key financial issues facing McMaster, and the university’s strategies for meeting financial challenges.
3. Increase attendees knowledge-base about broad financial matters facing the University and increase confidence and capability for effectively handling uncertainties and pressures associated with financial initiatives and financial sustainability
